This is a trick question. The only real answer is to buy a 510 coupe now , and then sell it in 10 years for a decent profit, which you will then use to put money down on an F-Type.

I'm a pretty big Toyobaru fan, but on looks alone I prefer the Nissan, which I will henceforth be referring to as the Nouveau 510. I would like to pick bits from the Freeflow and Nismo and combine them on one car though.

The nismo has a 6mt.. i think they will both be options, but the 1.6 will be th only motor, the 1.2-1.5l crap makes no sense with them still building the sentra..

no, not at all, but there is a reason for this. if you look at a subie motor, or any flat 4, for that matter, by design they must fire 2 pistons at once. so it sounds like a big 2 cylinder. like a retarded ducati, if you will. its just not for me. but the Porsche stuff is like a big 3 cylinder, which does not create an uneven sound, just a deep one which sounds a lot like any 6 cylinder

Hmm, I suppose you're right. I usually perfer the sound of a boxer 4 to an inline. I can't wait to do an exhaust on my Dart though. The 1.4 is a great sounding engine when it can breath.

Yes, they're the Fiat FIRE series of engines and that video does not do the engine note proper justice. The Dart's Multiair and the Abarth's differ a bit in horsepower and I would assume the 500 has a much shorter exhaust. The Darts with the dual exhausts sound very nice stock, more so at idle than at WOT though. They have such a nice burble at idle that the single exhaust of my car lacks and that's running through a resonator and muffler. The resonator delete alone makes a huge difference. I would just cut mine off but I want to save the entire stock exhaust incase I ever need to swap it back on. I'm thinking of doing a custom 2.5 or 3 inch pipe, I'm on the fence if I want to do a resonator or not.

hm.. well it all depends on how loud it can be.. personally i think you might want to leave the resonator on a daily. but then again, i probably wouldnt hahaha. im around rotarys all day, so no 4 cylinder is loud to me.. but your neighbors might not like it.

and absolutely keep the stock system for when you get the car inspected

Yep, because godforbid it throws a check engine light I'll still have the stock systen to swap back on.

And I'm leaning towards the resonator, but at the same time I don't want it because racecar. But without it would probably get annoying on a DD.

yea, you will probably want a little bit of sound reduction, especially when carting around other people, and like i said, being in a neighborhood., even if you can take it, no one else can haha
